The Denver Zoo’s king cobra has been having a tough couple of months. The 18-year-old cobra was diagnosed with cancer, more specifically lymphosarcoma of the skin, in February. With little available research and without examples from others, the zoo didn’t have a ready-made guidebook to follow.
